Warm and humid conditions continue over the region through Friday
with widespread highs in the mid 80s to mid 90s. This evening,
strong thunderstorms could move into eastern Montana and possibly
reach western North Dakota during the night.

More widespread and higher chances for showers and thunderstorms
are in the forecast for Thursday and Independence Day. Storms on
Thursday may become strong, and storms on Independence Day could
produce heavy rain. A significant cool down in daytime
temperatures is expected Saturday and Sunday with highs mainly
in the 70s to lower 80s with continued chances for showers and
thunderstorms.
