...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR NORTHWESTERN DICKEY AND NORTHEASTERN MCINTOSH COUNTIES...

At 707 PM CDT, Observation networks and trained weather spotters
have reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned
area. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen according to
observations. Flash flooding is ongoing and expected to continue.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Trained spotters and mesonet observations reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Merricourt City and Merricourt, along with rural areas of eastern
  McIntosh and western Dickey counties.

An additional one inch of rain is possible, with heavier rainfall
now east of the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
