A combination of dry and windy conditions will create an elevated
risk of wildfire spread across portions of northeastern PA today.
Minimum relative humidity will dip into the 30s percent range and
strong wind gusts between 20 to 30 mph are also expected this
afternoon.

Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potential
ignition sources, such as machinery, cigarettes, or matches. If
dry grasses and tree litter ignite, the fire will have the
potential to spread rapidly.
