La Crosse WI...

Temperature...Warmer than Average

During astronomical autumn, La Crosse Regional Airport had an
average temperature of 42.1F. This was 1.8F warmer than the 1873-
2025 long-term average of 40.3F. 12 out of the past 15 autumns
(going back to 2011) have been warmer than average.

The average high temperature was 51.3F which was 2.5F warmer than
the 1873-2025 long-term average of 48.8F.

The average low temperature was 32.8F which was 1.1F warmer than
the 1873-2025 long-term average of 31.7F.

The hottest high temperature was 90F on October 3.

was the 16th largest1-day November snowfall. It was the largest one-
day snowfall since December 19, 2024 (6.6 inches) and the largest
one-day November snowfall since November 23, 1991 (5.4 inches - 15th
largest single-day November snowfall).

No snow fell on 72 days (80%).
A trace of snow fell on 10 days (11.1%).
Measurable (0.1 or greater) fell on 8 days (8.9%).

Snow Depth...Above Average

During astronomical autumn, the official NWS snow observer near La
Crosse Regional Airport had an average snow depth of 1.6 inches.
This was 1 inch greater than the 1893-2025 long-term average of 0.6
inches.

The greatest snow depth was 8 inches on November 30, December 1, and
December 10-11.

the 1886-2025 long-term average of 47F. This was 29th warmest.

The average low temperature was 30.9F which was 2.7F warmer than
the 1886-2025 long-term average of 28.2F. This was 21st warmest.

The warmest high temperature was 88F on October 3.
The coldest high temperature was 0F on December 13.

Snow Depth...Above Average

During astronomical autumn, the official NWS snow observer near
Rochester International Airport had an average snow depth of 1.4
inches. This was 0.6 inches greater than the 1944-2025 long-term
average of 0.8 inches. 13th highest average.

The greatest snow depth was 7 inches from November 30 through
December 3, and from December 7 through December 12.
