...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Minnesota...Iowa...

  Mississippi River at Lansing affecting Vernon, Crawford,
  Allamakee and Houston Counties.

  Mississippi River at Lake City affecting Pepin, Goodhue and
  Wabasha Counties.

  Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Clayton and
  Grant Counties.

  Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Vernon, La Crosse and
  Houston Counties.

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Clayton, Crawford,
  Allamakee and Grant Counties.

  Mississippi River at Winona affecting Winona, Buffalo and
  Trempealeau Counties.

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 17.6 feet, water from the storm sewer system covers
  the 600 block of South Front Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Sunday was 17.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.7
    feet Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Lake City.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, July 07.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, structures on the lower end of Deer Island
  in Pepin area begin to flood. West Lake Road and Deer Island Road
  are partially under water, limiting access to homes and properties.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Sunday was 17.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is cresting near 17.3 feet and should
    begin to slowly fall by Monday night. It is expected to fall
    below flood stage Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

    feet Monday evening.

  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Sunday was 14.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.7
    feet Monday afternoon.
