  between 4 and 8 inches with locally higher amounts of a foot or
  more for northern parts of Emmet County.

* WHERE...Emmet County.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 8 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult with rapid changes in
  visibility and heavy snow covered roads. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes with
  localized heavy snow covered roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
