...GUSTY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...

Following the passage of a cold frontal boundary, west to
northwest winds will quickly increase across the region. Sustained
winds of 15 to 25mph will be frequent throughout the day,
occasionally gusting over 40mph. This will be most frequent across
more open areas across the region. Gusty winds will be able to
blow around unsecured objects, and may lead to some downed tree
limbs. As a result, isolated power outages are possible. Winds
are expected to subside through the evening hours.
