* WHAT...South winds turning west this afternoon and north this
  evening. Sustained winds of 15 to 30 mph. Wind gusts up to 45 to
  55 mph expected this afternoon and especially this evening.

* WHERE...Alcona, Alpena, Arenac, Gladwin, Iosco, Montmorency,
  Ogemaw, and Oscoda Counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

With temperatures falling into the teens and single digits tonight,
now is the time to prep for any longer duration power outages.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
