880 FNUS53 KAPX 180611 FWFAPX Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan National Weather Service Gaylord MI 211 AM EDT Mon Aug 18 2025 ...Breezy today; rain chances arrive this evening/tonight... .DISCUSSION... A dry Canadian airmass will continue to influence northern MI through this afternoon with RHs falling to the 40-50% -- perhaps a few of the typically drier spots falling into the upper 30% range. Occasionally gusty southeast winds expected as well. Shower and isolated storm chances increase from the west very late today, but more so this evening through tonight, which coincides with the best chances for wetting rain chances. Showers may linger Tuesday with those chances lasting longest across northeast lower. Southerly winds during the day turn northwesterly by late afternoon/evening.
