...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations up
  to six inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Western Dallam County. Does not include Dalhart at this
  time.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
  morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Call 800-452-9292 for road
information.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.

  western Cimarron County.

* WHERE...Mainly central to western Cimarron County.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
  The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and
  evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Mainly western Hartley County.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Slippery sidewalks, roads and
  bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the
  Thursday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 800-452-9292 for
road information.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
