A band or two of snow looks to move along the I-40 corridor from
Vega over to the Claude area over the next couple hours. This
band has the potential for a brief burst of moderate to heavy snow
that may last for 10 to 30 minutes. While some accumulations on
the roadways are possible, the main impacts of concern will be a
quick reduction in visibility and quick changes in road
conditions. Please travel with caution over the next few hours in
these areas, especially on roads with higher speed limits like
I-40, highway 60 and 287.
