...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN POTTER COUNTY
THROUGH 700 PM CDT...
At 623 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles northeast of Amarillo, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Potter
County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
