Fine fuels remain very dry across southern Vermont according to the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation. While minimum relative humidity values will only be 60 to 70 percent, gusty easterly winds up to 20 to 30 mph may have an impact on fire weather conditions tomorrow. If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain. Furthermore, breezy conditions will continue Sunday evening into Monday, however, forecast rainfall is expected to mitigate any further fire weather concerns. For more information about the current fire danger rating, any burn restrictions, and wildfire prevention and education, please visit your state forestry or environmental protection website. Remember, a debris burn ban is in effect for all of Vermont which means no open burning of debris is allowed. $$ 15
