...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LITCHFIELD AND
NORTHERN DUTCHESS COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 713 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Stanfordville, or 13 miles east of Rhinebeck, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Amenia, Sharon, Millbrook, Millerton, Falls Village, Stanfordville,
Cornwall Bridge, Warren, Cornwall, Smithfield, Salt Point, Lithgow,
Skiff Mountain, South Amenia, Shunpike, Shekomeko, North Kent,
Mabbettsville, Cornwall Bridge Pottery, and Mitcheltown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northern Connecticut...and east central New York.
