...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 10 PM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, and the
  Mid-Hudson Valley, Eastern Catskills, Capital Region, Taconics,
  and portions of the Mohawk Valley of eastern New York.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 10 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
  There will also be areas of blowing snow, which could lead to
  travel difficulties.
