...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total ice accumulations of
  up to one tenth of an inch and total snow accumulations of up
  to 3 inches.

* WHERE...Bristol Bay.

* WHEN...Until noon AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages are possible. Travel could be
  extremely hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Multiple rounds of light precipitation will
  bring continued chances for a wintry mix of snow and freezing
  rain through noon Thursday. There will be a break in steady
  precipitation late this evening before the second round arrives
  Thursday morning. Precipitation looks to taper to scattered
  light showers Thursday afternoon. The highest likelihood for
  freezing rain and ice accumulation will occur along a line
  roughly from Dillingham north through Koliganek. As you head
  east toward the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian and Alaska Ranges,
  temperatures will rise above freezing, leading to plain rain.

* WHAT...Snow and freezing rain expected. Total snow
  accumulations of up to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a
  glaze to one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Lower Kuskokwim Valley.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Multiple rounds of precipitation will
  affect the Kuskokwim Valley through Thursday. Precipitation
  type may fluctuate back and forth between snow and freezing
  rain.
