Light winds pick up and switch to south-southeasterly by late
this morning into early this afternoon as a front along the
Southwest Alaska coast moves inland. Wind gusts are expected to
reach 20 to 25 mph and persist through Tuesday evening. Widespread
wetting precipitation looks to begin this afternoon, with the
heaviest rain coming overnight tonight into Tuesday morning. Total
rainfall amounts are expected to be around 1 inch. Rainfall is
expected to become more showery on Tuesday, but may linger through
Tuesday evening before drier conditions return for Wednesday.
