555 FNAK72 PAFC 151817 FWSALU Spot Forecast for Kipnuk...DPS National Weather Service ANCHORAGE AK 1017 AM AKDT Wed Oct 15 2025 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1000 AKDT on October 15. .DISCUSSION... Gusty easterly winds associated with a front moving onshore from the eastern Bering Sea will peak later this morning, then steadily weaken and turn northerly this evening as the front weakens and as the associated low pressure system moves into the Gulf. Periods of rain showers moving into the Kuskokwim Delta Coast could cause ceilings to vary throughout the day, but improvement is expected later this evening into tonight as winds become more offshore. For Thursday, a weak disturbance moving onshore from the west will push another round of precipitation across the coastline, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures at the surface could be cool enough for rain to mix with snow at times during the evening, but no accumulation is expected. Ceilings and visibility will trend down as the next round of precipitation moves in. Winds will also turn westerly and begin to increase through Thursday evening. .REST OF TODAY...
