Adak is currently under the influence of a high pressure ridge
over the central Aleutians, creating stagnant conditions and low
stratus across the region. Winds will become light and variable
this afternoon before a front approaching from the west
transitions flow to southerly and strengthens overnight. There may
be periods of increased visibility this afternoon but prevailing
conditions will remain deteriorated.
