...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM AKDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Water levels 1 to 3 feet above the normal highest tide
  line.

* WHERE...Along the Kuskokwim Delta Coast and Nunivak Island.

* WHEN...Through 10 PM AKDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Continued flooding of low lying areas, including some
  roads, walkways, bridges and runway strips in coastal
  communities.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels peaked this morning and flood
  waters are receding. A high tide late this afternoon may cause
  water levels to hold steady or even rise a bit. However, the
  peak will be well below what was observed this morning. Water
  levels will fall this evening, with low tide occurring between
  8pm and Midnight tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A coastal flood warning means that flooding is occurring or
imminent. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
property.
