...AREAS OF DENSE FOG CONTINUE THROUGH LATE THIS MORNING...

Satellite and surface observations continue to show areas of fog
reducing visibility across portions of south central and
southeast Virginia and inland portions of northeast North
Carolina. Visibility will average between 1 and 2 miles, but may
drop below 1/2 to 1/4 mile at times. Conditions will gradually
improve after 10 AM late this morning.

Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to
the areas of dense fog. Slow down, use low-beams headlights, and
account for extra time to reach your destination safely this
morning.
