...AREAS OF DENSE FOG IN SOUTHERN VIRGINIA AND NORTHEAST NORTH
CAROLINA THIS MORNING...

Satellite and surface observations show areas of dense fog have
developed over portions of southern Virginia and northeast North
Carolina, away from the immediate coast. Visibilities are
fluctuating between one quarter and two miles, though could drop
to one quarter mile or less in localized areas. Visibilities
should quickly improve after 8 or 9 AM this morning. Visibilities
could lower further over the next few hours, which would
necessitate a dense fog advisory.

Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to
the areas of dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam
headlights only.
