The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  James River from James River Bridge to Hampton Roads
  Bridge-Tunnel...

* Until 830 PM EST.

* At 701 PM EST, marine observations indicated gusts of around 35
  knots over the Lower James River in association with a secondary
  cold front. Gusts in excess of 34 knots are possible for the next
  hour or two before winds diminish overnight.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Observations.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hampton River Inlet, James River Bridge, Hampton Flats, Monitor
  Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, Willoughby Bay, Sewells Point, and
  Dominion Pier.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
