...PATCHY DENSE FOG EARLY THIS MORNING...

Patchy and locally dense fog will linger across northern portions
of the Currituck Sound and Back Bay, along with the coastal waters
off of the Currituck Outer Banks near the Virginia North Carolina
border. Visibility will generally be 1 to 3 NM, but will
occasionally be locally dense with visibility dropping to less
than 1 NM. Visibility should gradually improve through 9 AM.

Reduce your speed and keep a lookout for other vessels, buoys,
and breakwaters. Keep your navigation lights on. Consider seeking
safe harbor if your boat is not equipped with radar.
