Fire Weather Planning Forecast For CEN/ERN VA...NE NC...MD ERN SHORE
National Weather Service WAKEFIELD VA
427 AM EDT Sun Apr 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Above normal temperatures are expected again today. A higher chance for
showers and thunderstorms arrives late this afternoon/early this
evening into Monday as a cold front slowly crosses the area. Much
cooler temperatures are expected early next week with the potential
for breezy winds and min RH 25-35% Tuesday. The elevated rainfall totals
expected this afternoon through Monday morning should mitigate any fire
weather concerns for Tuesday and Wednesday.
