URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Juneau AK
259 PM AKST Fri Nov 28 2025

...HEAVY SNOW FOR THE KLONDIKE HIGHWAY SUNDAY...

.A system advancing northward through the panhandle will bring
with it accumulating snow for the northern panhandle. The best
chance of snow will be for the Klondike Highway, which could see
6-10 inches of new snowfall. Lower snow totals are expected for
Skagway, which could see 2 to 4 inches of new snow. The potential
for less snow near sea level than currently forecast does exist,
should warmer air manage to move up Lynn Canal faster than
anticipated.
