.SYNOPSIS FOR THE EASTERN GULF OF ALASKA...
 Low pressure to the south will track north towards Vancouver
Island. At the same time, high pressure continues in northern
Canada. This will tighten the pressure gradient over the
panhandle, increasing northerly winds through Friday. Pressure
gradient slackens for the weekend.
