Please contact our office at (907) 790-6824, if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION...Current conditions around Edna Bay are calm with SE wind around 10 mph and VFR conditions for both ceiling (around 4000 ft ceilings at PAKW) and visibility (10 mile Vis at PAKW). These conditions are expected to deteriorate late tonight as a frontal system moves in from the West. Expect increasing precipitation, and SE winds (to 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts) through the night with the heavier precip and winds arriving after 3 am. Ceilings and Visibility will also likely drop to around 2000 ft and around 5 miles as heavier rainfall moves in as well. Expect these difficult conditions to persist through the day Thursday before starting to improve Thursday evening after 6 pm.
