Flag Warning.

Red Flag conditions have ended but we still expect fires to be
active due to hot and dry weather.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM AKDT THIS
EVENING...

* AFFECTED AREA...Upper Koyukuk Valley, Dalton Highway Summits,
  Yukon Flats, White Mountains and High Terrain South of the
  Yukon River, Upper Chena River Valley and Chatanika River
  Valley.

* TIMING...Until 10 PM AKDT this evening.

* WINDS...East 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the mid to upper 80s.
 Lows in the 50s.

* IMPACTS...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be
  possible. Hot, dry, and windy conditions may lead to rapid
  spread of fires.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak fire conditions will be from 10 AM
through 10 PM this evening. The winds in the hills and mtns
around Fairbanks may weaken earlier than 10 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that conditions are occurring or will
occur which could lead to the development of large and dangerous
fires. It is directed toward fire agencies, and through them, to
the public.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this Red Flag Warning.
