Easterly winds continue through the week, generally 15 to 25 mph
with occasional gusts up to 30mph. An area of open water in the
ice east of Prudhoe Bay is providing ample moisture to generate
low clouds, mist, patches of denser fog, and occasional flurries.
Areas of blowing snow are expected near the site. These conditions
will continue throughout the week with worse conditions occuring
further east of the site. Temperatures remain consistent with a
slight downward trend expected through the week.
