If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...A stationary front extending from St. Lawrence Island East through southern Norton Sound and inland near Unalakleet will continue to persist in the area through Friday as the band lifts north and west through the weekend. Light snow, Freezing drizzle, and or Fog will likely linger around over night with visibilities under 4 miles sometimes a low as 1 mile. Conditions should improve overnight with the stationary front drifting north of Nome and pushing the towards the Western tip of the Seward Peninsula. Lower conditions will continue to be on the west and north side of the front. Ceilings overnight will be in the 1000 to 1500 ft range and after front passes north should rise to 2500 feet by morning and then to 4000 to 5000 feet by afternoon. Fair flying conditions should continue through Friday evening.
