.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers expected Friday through Sunday. These will
start as rain below 1000 feet and snow above 2000 feet with a
rain/snow mix. Snow becomes more prominent through Friday and
Saturday with only snow expected by Sunday. Calm winds expected in
valleys with light northeast winds expected near summits and
ridgetops through Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon winds shift
more westerly with gusts 10 to 15 mph in the valleys and up to 20
mph at higher elevations. Temperatures cool through the weekend
and highs will struggle to reach freezing by Sunday.
