.DISCUSSION...
Chances for wetting rains will continue on and off for the next
several days as a series of storms comes off the west coast and
cross northern Alaska. This will put a damper on fire weather
concerns for most areas as min RH values stay well elevated. The
exception will be the Upper Tanana Valley where RH values will
drop into the 30s each afternoon until Sunday when a stronger
storm system pushes additional moisture into the region. Winds
will not be very strong and generally from the southwest with the
exception of local terrain effects.
