...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

Temperatures have climbed into the mid to upper 30s with
precipitation falling as rain. Any rain falling on still frozen or
untreated surfaces may result in slick conditions. However,
widespread wintry precipitation is no longer expected.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM AKST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Wintry mix of snow and rain expected. Total snow
  accumulation of 2 to 6 inches.

* WHERE...Seward Highway from Primrose to Hope.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the holiday travel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain and snow will persist through the
  overnight hours across the interior Kenai Peninsula. Temperatures
  are expected to fall back below freezing tonight. Any additional
  rain and snow in addition to already wet surfaces refreezing may
  result in slick conditions on any untreated surfaces. Please use
  extra caution if traveling outside overnight, particularly on the
  Seward Highway or Hope Cutoff Road.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road

  accumulation of 6 to 14 inches.

* WHERE...Turnagain Pass.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the holiday travel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain, with wet snow at the top of the pass,
  will persist through the overnight hours through Turnagain Pass.
  Temperatures are expected to fall back below freezing tonight. Any
  additional rain and snow in addition to already wet surfaces
  refreezing may result in slick conditions on any untreated
  surfaces. Please use extra caution if traveling through the pass
  through early Friday morning.
