...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM AKST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Additional snow
  accumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45
  mph. Visibility reduced to one half mile.

* WHERE...East Turnagain Arm, mainly along Portage Glacier Road.

* WHEN...Through 3 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and gusty easterly winds will continue
  through Portage Valley through early Friday morning. Gusty winds
  will allow for blowing and drifting of snow. Temperatures are
  expected to hover near freezing overnight, helping to decrease
  the amount of blowing snow with time. Snow and blowing snow
  will taper off Friday morning as temperatures climb above
  freezing.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM AKST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Additional snow
  accumulations of 1 to 3 inches through early Friday morning.
  Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. Visibility reduced to one half
  mile.

* WHERE...Nikiski to Anchor Point including the Sterling Highway
  from Soldotna to Anchor Point.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 3 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blowing snow is expected, driven by gusty
  winds near Cook Inlet. Most impactful conditions expected near
  Nikiski where visibility lower than one half mile is possible.
  Strongest winds expected before midnight tonight. Temperatures
  in the 20s and gusty winds will allow for significant blowing
  and drifting of snow. Winds to diminish Friday morning, but
  light snow will likely continue through Friday evening.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM AKST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35
  mph. Visibility reduced to one half mile.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 8 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds are expected to increase through
  midnight and the combination of snow and gusty winds will allow
  for blowing and drifting of snow. Snow and winds will continue
  through Friday morning. Winds are then expected to diminish in
  intensity, helping to limit the potential for blowing snow. Snow
  will continue for Thompson Pass through Friday with additional 3
  to 6 inches possible. 5 to 10 inches of snow is possible for
  Valdez through Saturday morning. 3 to 6 inches of snow is
  possible along the Richardson Highway from Thompson Pass north
  to Tonsina.
