...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TUESDAY TO 7 AM AKST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Northern Copper Valley along the Richardson Highway from
  mile marker 150 to mile marker 200, and Northern Susitna Valley
  north of Talkeetna and through Broad Pass.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Tuesday to 7 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will be from late tomorrow
  morning through tomorrow afternoon in Northern Susitna Valley. For
  Northern Copper Valley, the heaviest snow will be from tomorrow
  afternoon through Wednesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road
conditions call 5 1 1 or visit 511.alaska.gov.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and freezing rain expected. Total snow accumulations
  of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze up to
  0.15 inches.

* WHERE...Central Susitna Valley and Southern Susitna Valley, along
  the Parks Highway from Houston north to Talkeetna.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Tuesday to 7 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation will predominantly be light
  freezing rain from early tomorrow morning through Wednesday
  morning. However, during the period of heaviest precipitation
  tomorrow morning, snow may mix with freezing rain at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road
conditions call 5 1 1 or visit 511.alaska.gov.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

* WHAT...Rain and freezing rain expected. Ice accumulations around a
  light glaze.

* WHERE...Anchorage, Eagle River, and Lower Matanuska Valley
  (including Palmer and Wasilla).

* WHEN...From 5 AM to noon AKST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
  The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light rain tomorrow, in combination with
  surface temperatures right around freezing, may lead to a light
  glaze of icing on already-icy side and neighborhood roads.
