...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKST
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy Snow. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 20 inches.
  Visibility reduced to 1/2 mile at times. Winds gusting as high
  as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Turnagain Pass.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening until midnight Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Travel may be difficult. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. Visibilities will be limited in heavy snowfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall will occur this
  morning where snowfall rates as high as 1 to 2 inches per hour
  are possible in Turnagain Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel may be difficult. Visibilities may be severely limited in
heavy snowfall. Slow down and use caution while traveling.

MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 20 to 30
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight until 9 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel may be difficult. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. Visibilities will be limited in heavy snowfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The worst conditions are expected between
  3 AM and 3 PM AKST Sunday. Snow changing to rain is expected
  for Valdez to Keystone Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel may be difficult. Visibilities may be severely limited in
heavy snowfall. Slow down and use caution while traveling.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow, freezing rain, and rain. Freezing rain on top of
  cold, snow-covered roads. Heavy snow closer to Thompson Pass and
  snow along the Richardson Highway corridor from Glennallen north
  to Paxson. Snow accumulation of 5 to 10 inches for the
  Richardson Highway corridor, with the highest amounts near
  Paxson. Snow accumulations 10 to 20 inches south of Tonsina to
  Thompson Pass. A glaze of ice accumulation possible south of
  Tonsina. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph near Thompson Pass.

* WHERE...Copper River Basin.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Sunday to 6 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel may be difficult. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. Visibilities will be limited in heavy snowfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A wintry mix of precipitation is expected
  along the Richardson Highway south of the Edgerton Highway
  south to Thompson Pass. Precipitation will be heavy at times.
  Snow is expected to be the primary type of precipitation
  through most of the event. However, expect diminished snow
  amounts if the precipitation changes over to rain. Rain on
  snow-covered roads and cold surface temperatures will likely
  lead to slick conditions. For Glennallen north, expect snow
  with the highest amounts along the northern Copper River
  Basin, including Paxson.
