...GUSTY WINDS AND BLOWING/DRIFTING SNOW TODAY...

Gusty winds are expected to develop through the afternoon today
and continue through Friday morning. As the winds increase, recent
snow may become resuspended and cause localized areas of drifting
and/or blowing snow. This event is not expected to be as
widespread as last week due to the firmness of the snow and the
lower amounts currently on the ground. Winds are expected to gust
between 35 and 50 mph out of the northeast. Those traveling along
area roadways should drive with caution and plan for extra travel
time.
