.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A 1000 mb low near 55N 155W remains nearly stationary through Thu
evening as it weakens to 1007 mb. This low exits further
southeastward into the North Pacific by Fri afternoon. Its front
lingers across Kodiak Island through Thu night as high pressure
builds across the northern Gulf through Fri afternoon.
