.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A weak front extending across the Gulf dissipates by Mon afternoon.
A broad 980 mb North Pacific low strengthens to 958 mb as it moves
to 54N 145W for Mon afternoon. It then moves to 55N 138W at 982 mb
by Tue afternoon.
