.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A weak 1011 mb low dissipates over the Northern Gulf by Thu
evening as a 996 mb North Pacific low enters the Southern Gulf at
55N 148W Friday morning. The low then lifts to 57N 140W at 994 mb
by Sat afternoon.
