Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1200 AKST on November 14.

.DISCUSSION...

A frontal system over Kodiak Island this morning will move to the
southern Kenai Peninsula coast this afternoon. Northeast winds
will persist out ahead of the front with light snow developing by
noon. The bulk of the snow will stay farther west, out toward
Anchor Point and over Cook Inlet, limiting accumulation to around
1 to 2 inches. Snow will likely mix with then change to rain as
temperatures climb into the upper 30s. Rain may mix with snow late
Friday as the storm continues to move east and colder air works
back in. Winds will also switch from the northeast to the
west in the wake of the frontal system. The westerly winds for
late Friday are expected to remain light.
