Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1800 AKST on January 12.
.DISCUSSION...

Showers will move back over the region beginning late this
afternoon and continue through Monday morning. The showers are
expected to remain in the form of rain through late this evening
before becoming a mix of rain and snow. Only light accumulations,
only order of 0.10" of liquid and 1.0" of snow, are expected. Any
precipitation is expected to taper off by Monday afternoon. Winds
have tapered off this afternoon, but a second increase in wind is
expected later tonight into Monday morning. Wind intensity is not
expected to be at the level of the previous event. Temperatures
will gradually fall to around freezing overnight tonight and below
freezing for Monday night. Winds will become more northerly by
Monday night as well.
