Warm and dry conditions will continue through the weekend with high
temperatures reaching the 80s and 90s. These reading are 15 to 30
degrees above average for this time of year. Lows tonight will drop
into the upper 40s, to the mid 50s. Southerly winds with gusts of 30
to 40 mph can be expected on Sunday, with the highest wind gusts
occurring west of the James River valley. The winds, along with the
dry airmass will create hazardous fire weather conditions, especially
for locations along the Missouri River valley.
