Today will feature southwest to westerly winds with gusts of 20 to
30 mph, with the highest gusts occurring along and west of the
Missouri River valley. The winds, along with low relative humidity
values below 25 percent will produce near critical fire danger today.
The winds will spread eastward tonight, with gusts of 30 to 45 mph
possible over the higher terrain areas in northeastern South Dakota.
Lows tonight will range in the upper 40s, to the 50s.

Warm and dry weather will continue on Wednesday with highs reaching
the upper 70s, to the mid 80s. A frontal boundary crossing the area
on Wednesday will produce northwesterly winds and another near
critical fire weather day.
