Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
329 AM CDT Thu Sep 19 2024 /229 AM MDT Thu Sep 19 2024/

Dry and windy conditions are expected today across the listening
area as a cold front sweeps east into Minnesota this morning. West to
southwest winds will increase during the daytime as the gradient
tightens. Gusty conditions will set up for most areas, especially
west of the James valley where wind speeds will top out between 35
and 45 mph. Winds will diminish tonight as cooler temperatures filter
in. Warmer than normal temps stick around for Friday before cooler
weather returns this weekend.

Highs today will top out in the upper 70s to low 80s. Lows tonight
will cool down into the 50s. Highs on Friday will be back in the 80s
to perhaps around 90 degrees south and west of the Pierre area.
