A storm system crossing the region will bring a 30 to 60 percent
chance for light showers today, mainly during the morning hours.
Winds will increase from the northwest this afternoon with gusts
exceeding 30 mph at times. Central and north central South Dakota may
see wind gusts of 40 mph. This leads to elevated fire danger. Dry
weather is expected Sunday with another storm system that could
bring light rain on Monday along with windy conditions, with gusts of
30 to 45 mph.

High temperatures today will only warm into the 50s. Lows in the 30s
can be expected tonight. Warmer temperatures will move into the area
on Sunday with highs in the mid 50s, to the mid 60s.
