A cold front will sweep across the area today, bringing cooler
temperatures and gusty northwesterly winds. Wind gusts of 35 to 45
mph can be expected at times, with the highest gusts occurring west
of the James River valley. The winds and dry airmass will create
critical fire weather conditions with red flag warnings in place
across much of the listening area. High temperatures today will range
from the mid 60s, west of the Missouri River, to the mid 70s, along
and east of the James River valley. Low temperatures tonight will
drop into the 30s.

Tuesday will feature near average temperatures with highs in the 60s
and low 70s.
