Record or near record high temperatures continue today. Mostly sunny
skies to start off the day will be gradually replaced by increasing
cirrus clouds, while areas of haze from wildfire smoke persist. A
cold front will move through the region this afternoon and evening
turning winds to the northwest and bringing cooler conditions to the
region.

High temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 80s. A few record
or near record highs will be possible today. Low temperatures tonight
should fall mainly into the 40s and 50s.
