Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
437 AM CDT Mon May 12 2025 /337 AM MDT Mon May 12 2025/

Hot, windy and dry conditions will continue to be the main themes in
the forecast for the listening area the next couple days. This hot
and dry air mass will persist and allow for the potential of more
record high temperatures to be set today. Fire danger will also
remain elevated to critical through Tuesday for much of the forecast
area with southerly winds gusting 35 to 45 mph. Additionally, the
strong winds and dry conditions may cause blowing dust and areas of
reduced visibility.

Showers and thunderstorms could develop as early as Tuesday night
and continue through Friday morning as an area of low pressure and
associated cold front move into the region.

High temperatures today will range from the upper 80s to low 90s east
to the mid to upper 90s west. Lows tonight will be in the low to mid
60s. Highs on Tuesday will once again make the upper 80s to low 90s.
