Weather conditions across the listening area will remain rather
tranquil the next couple days as high pressure maintains control.
Dry conditions are expected through Friday night with temperatures
near to slightly above seasonal normals for this time of year. The
next storm system arrives by Saturday morning with rain chances
spreading north and eastward across the region. Some locations in
central and northeast South Dakota could see a tenth to a quarter
inch of rainfall by the time it ends Sunday morning.

Highs today will reach the upper 40s to low 50s. A few spots across
central South Dakota could see the mid 50s this afternoon. Lows
tonight will bottom out in the upper 20s to low 30s. Highs on Friday
will warm into the low to mid 50s.
